TO RAYMOND BAPTIST CHURCH

WELCOME

What To expect

We Can't Wait To Serve You

Our Corporate Worship Gathering is approximately 75 mins from start to finish. We are a more traditional styled service singing old hymns, but also modern songs that are traditional in style, songs from groups like The Getty's or Sovereign Grace Music. We begin our service with a few announcements then transition by asking for The Lord's help then a call to worship by reading the Word of God to set the attention and affection of our souls rightly on God. We then sing a few songs and give. We then move to worship through participating in an expositional, exegetical sermon. Concluding the service, we have a hymn of response to God and then are dismissed. For information regarding Sunday School or Evening Bible Studies please visit the "Ministries" tab on the menu above.

Where to Go

Once you arrive at our campus, you'll be greeted by folks ready to give you a bulletin along with a smile and warm welcome. They are able to answer any questions you have and will lead you exactly where you need to go. The Sanctuary As soon as you walk through the front doors, you'll enter the vestibule, and the sanctuary is immediately forward. Please pick a seat anywhere you feel comfortable in the sanctuary for our corporate worship. Restrooms The restrooms are straight through the sanctuary. Take the door directly to the right of the pulpit and you'll see them straight ahead. We also have overflow seating and additional restrooms in the fellowship hall located in the basement. You can take the door immediately to the right as soon as you enter the sanctuary. You can also take the set of stairs located next to the upstairs restrooms. Overflow Seating If the sanctuary is full, please feel free to utilize our overflow seating. You won't be alone; we always have folks stationed there for security purposes and that area is often taken advantage of. For where to go during Sunday School or evening Bible Studies please visit the "Ministries" tab.

What To wear

We welcome you to come as you are. You'll find individuals in anything from blue jeans to suits and ties, from dresses to capris and khakis. We believe The Lord is pleased with modest, simple clothing. We do not judge on outward appearance but rather are more concerned with a true heart of worship of God.

Childcare

We encourage integrated family worship. If you have a young child, they are more than welcome in the corporate worship gathering. Screaming or squirmy kiddos are not burden or bother to us. We hope to be like our Lord who said, "Let the children come to me." We want to see families worship together, sing together, open The Word of God together. Noisy kids are much better than no kids.   However, if you have a child that is 3 years and younger they are also welcome in our "Gated Community" aka our nursery. We call it the Gated Community because it is just that, gated. The kids cannot escape without a volunteer. Volunteers All of our volunteers are church members and subjected to regular background checks. There is always a devotion given to the child and we will ask for basic information upon drop off, such as food allergies.  Check In Once you arrive you can find the "Gated Community in our Sunday School Hallway. To get there, walk through the sanctuary and take the door to the right of the pulpit. You'll see the Sunday School office past the restrooms. Take the hallway past the Sunday School office to the end and turn left. You'll see our nursery straight ahead. There you'll find a volunteer ready to care for your child. They will hand you a pager that will buzz if your child needs your care during the service.  Pick Up Immediately after the service please make your way back to the nursery to pick up your child. A parent/guardian that dropped off the child will need to pick him/her up. Please bring the pager back upon pick up.  Trust We take the trust you place in our team very seriously and we don't want to do anything to break that trust. We will care for your child the best we can but also teach them Biblical truth in the process. We don't simply put on a theologically questionable show or movie and shovel goldfish in their mouths. We want them to thrive in The Lord. We are very intentional with the opportunity to minister the gospel to the kiddos under our roof.

Security & Safety

We have a team dedicated to security and safety with relevant experience and training. You may not be able to recognize them and that is intentional. They are stationed throughout the entire property each time we gather and watch for potential threats. They are also ready to assist with minor first aid until professional services arrive. We hope this offers not only protection and safety for those under our watch and care but also a distraction free, peace of mind to all those seeing to Worship God in Spirit and Truth.
